Leg Vein Treatments

Sclerotherapy with micro injections of a chemical solution (FDA-approved Sotradecol) will fade spider veins and larger blue veins. The procedure is practically painless, and requires support hose and no restriction of activity. Several sessions may be necessary for best results.

Dr. Zanelli also uses the Palomar Nd:YAG laser for treatment of small leg veins. For some patients, the combination of sclerotherapy and laser can be the best treatment plan.
